Exellent Staff

Oct 31, 2011 by Patient Zero

I find that the staff at AHTHC is very helpful and informative. They helped me through the entire process of getting my authorization. Yes, it can be a pain to gather medical records in order to be seen, but it is well worth it. I went to a different clinic the first time, and I found that their prices were too high, and the staff was not very informative or nice so I left. AHTHC made me comfortable with my decision! Add that to the fact that AHTHC offers low cost appointments, and they were the perfect place to go to. I will be recommending everyone to this clinic. MMJ is one of the few things that help me get through my day, and I feel comfortable knowing that the AHTHC doctor who wrote my authorization will back me in court if I ever needed it.

Cannabis is the only thing that helps...

Oct 16, 2011 by Annastaisa Rupert

I have been diagnosed with Manic Bipolar and Anxiety for 12 years, and believe me I have been to MANY doctors and have been on MANY different medications. Cannabis is the only thing that seems to help constantly. I have found meds that have worked in the past, but my body eventually starts rejecting them. I have been self medicating since i was 18. Cannabis is the only thing that i can stay with constantly. Being bipolar is very hard especially while unstable. I haven't experienced depression since I was younger but without the Cannabis I guarantee I would probably have made some really bad decisions... With my anxiety i start to experience nausea and I get really sick. The Cannabis is the ONLY thing that has ever helped me with that. Prescription Nausea meds have never helped if not make it worse. Its just been really difficult to find anything that helps with it all, and Cannabis is the only thing. I know i would not be typing this right now if i didn't have it. Thank God for Cannabis.

Death without Cannabis

Jun 24, 2011 by Kandi Mokhtari

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2005,2 years ago i developed diverticulitis and bleeding ulcers in my stomach. I have suffered from depression since childhood and was perscribed anti-psychotic medication, it made me feel worse and I have self-medicated since I took myself off the drugs at the age of 18. If I did not have cannabis I would have commited suicide a long time ago. It is the only thing that takes away my nausea, and makes me feel normal. I could not function as a productive part of society if I was unable to get the cannabis I so desperately need every day. It is my Lifeline, My only way to survive this existance.

i was diagnosed with lupus and fibro in 2005, i get very sore muscles and joints, nausea, vomiting, and a sleep disorder. i now have 19 chronic diseases and without my cannabis id be in bed every day rather than only two weeks in bed when i get a cold. i also have anxiety issues and skin issues, this helps in many different ways for me, oils , edibles for when i don\'t want to smoke it, vaporizing, and lotions and etc. Please don\'t take our only access away. Cause for me I\'d have to go illegal to get it and i need it so bad that id have no choice.

Hurray for Cannabis!

I injured my back in a fall. I have used Cannabis as a pain reliever after using NSAIDs, Tramadol, muscle relaxants, Physical Therapy, and Massage Therapy. I find that Cannabis does not heal the pain, but it does make it tolerable to be able to function daily. I feel it also helps with other mental conditions, such as my anxiety and PTSD.
